Wulandari, one of the students of the
Department of English Language and Literature, Adab and Humanities Faculty,
Alauddin Islamic State University of Makassar, was able to show brilliant
potential by placing second in the Content Creator Competition and Storyline
Competition in the student category with the theme "Raising the Value of
the Great Figure Karaeng Pattingalloang in the 20th Century," which was
organized by the Culture and Tourism Service at Benteng Somba Opu, Barombong
District, Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi Province.
Being able to study the figure of an
intelligent intellectual from the land of Makassar meant that Wulandari was
able to execute the theme well to amaze the examiner, Mahmuddin Ali from Tourism
Expert Team South Sulawesi as the first exminer, Nasakros Arya from Hasanuddin
University as the second exminer, and Erwin Mansyur Ugu Saraka from Hasanuddin
University as the third exminer.
Citing the results of an interview
conducted by the BSI News Team on January 21, 2024, Wulandari expressed his
gratitude for the trust given by the examiner to expose the museum through an
online platform. Wulandari also said that this achievement would fuel her
enthusiasm for developing skills in the field of content creation. For this
achievement, Wulandari was awarded a certificate of appreciation, a trophy, and
pocket money of Rp. 4,000,000 from the total prize for the competition branch
of Rp. 15,000.00, with distribution details, that the first winner gets pocket
money of Rp. 5,000,000, second place is Rp. 4,000,000, third place is Rp.
3,000,000, and the hopeful winners each receive pocket money of Rp. 1,000,000.
"The aim of this activity is to
increase promotion of the Karaeng Pattingalloang Museum through online media
with the hope of being able to become the main support in increasing visits to
the Karaeng Pattingalloang Museum," said Drs. Nuryadin as a head of the
History and Cultural Heritage Division of the South Sulawesi Province Culture
and Tourism Service, with a statement supported by Purmawati as Sub-coordinator
of Museums and Cultural Heritage. This Content Creator Competition takes place
from October to November and involves stages ranging from correspondence to
registration provided.
