Sandra Dewi Dahlan, M.A. Lecturer in English Language and Literature from Alauddin Islamic State University of Makassar, acted as an instructor in an activity organized by the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Southeast Sulawesi Province. The activity entitled "Orientation of Religious Moderation Pioneers to the Community Batch I and Batch II at the Southeast Sulawesi Province Level for the 2024 Fiscal Year" was carried out by the Interfaith Harmony Working Team and took place from July 31 to August 3, 2024, at a hotel in Kendari City.
This activity was attended by 60 participants from various communities, administrators of places of worship, mass media, government agencies, and vertical institutions. The diversity of participants reflects the purpose of this activity, which is to strengthen religious moderation in Southeast Sulawesi Province. In his remarks when opening the activity, the Head of the Southeast Sulawesi Ministry of Religious Affairs Regional Office, H. Muh Shaleh, emphasized the importance of religious moderation as a shared responsibility, not just the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
"We welcome all the speakers who are present at Bumi Anoa and will later provide various materials for the participants that can later be used in everyday life," H. Muh Shaleh said on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. He also added that the diversity in Southeast Sulawesi is expected to continue to be maintained through strengthening religious moderation. In this activity, various competent speakers and facilitators were presented to provide useful materials for participants.
