The Ministry of Religious Affairs continues to be involved in encouraging the massive movement of Strengthening Religious Moderation in the country. In the process, Monev needs to be carried out to control the implementation of PMB which has been going on since 2019. For this reason, as an extension of its hand, the Makassar Religious Research and Development Center held an Evaluation and Development of the Religious Moderation Ecosystem FY 2023 on November 20-21, at Makassar Claro Hotel.
This activity was actively attended by eight representatives from UIN Alauddin Makassar, three of whom were National Facilitators of Religious Moderation who incidentally were lecturers of English Language and Literature of Adab and Humanities Faculty. They are Dean of the Adab and Humanities Faculty, Dr. H. Barsihannor, M.Ag, Secretary of English Language and Literature Department, Sandra Dewi Dahlan, M.A and AIMEP alumni, Waode Surya Darmadali, M.Hum.
The contribution of suggestions for the development of the
MB ecosystem provided by these three facilitators is inseparable from their
duties and responsibilities as Lecturers, namely by manifesting the spirit and
content of MB in various Tridharma of Higher Education activities. Not only
that, the three are determined to streng then content containing Religious
Moderation in the news content of faculty and department websites so that MB
will become the spirit of the campus civilization of UIN Alauddin Makassar. In
the future, it is planned to hold the election of Religious Moderation
Ambassadors at the faculty and university levels who are expected to have a
positive influence among Gen Z as agents of change in the nation.
