Manado, 06 to 09 December 2023. Religious harmony needs to be nurtured and maintained. The Ministry of Religious Affairs continues to strive to improve this harmony by holding various strengthening and socialization related to Religious Moderation.
On this occasion, BSI Lecturer, Sandra Dewi Dahlan, S.Pd, M.A was appointed by the Religious Moderation Working Group of the Ministry of Religion as one of the facilitators in the Religious Moderation Pioneer Orientation activities for Christian Religious Counselors Batch 1 and 2 in Minahasa. The activity took place for four days at the Grand Whiz Manado hotel which was attended by around 90 extension workers throughout North Sulawesi who were pastors and shepherds. The facilitator from BSI was grateful that this activity became a space for meeting to understand the problems and hopes of religion and diversity in North Sulawesi.
Working in the facilitator team was also the national instructor Mr. Agus Shaleh who is a former bureaucrat at the Ministry of Religion and Pastor of Seska Langitan who is affiliated with the Manado Religious Education and Training Center.
All participants who attended the activity hoped that this activity could continue to be carried out to open the repertoire of the Extension Workers as an extension of the Ministry of Religion in the region in maintaining the harmony and unity of the Republic of Indonesia in the environment on duty.
