Gowa, October 21, 2024 – The Department of English and Literature, Faculty of Adab and Humanities at UIN Alauddin Makassar, successfully held a workshop titled "Utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Academic Writing" on October 21, 2024. The workshop featured Dr. Andi Asrifan, S.Pd., M.Pd., as the keynote speaker, who provided in-depth material on the use of AI in the academic field, particularly in writing scholarly works.

The event, attended by lecturers and students, took place in the Senate Room of the Faculty of Adab and Humanities at UIN Alauddin Makassar. Participants were highly enthusiastic throughout the workshop, actively engaging with the material and trying out the AI tools introduced by the speaker.

Dr. Andi Asrifan introduced three AI websites that have proven to be highly beneficial in accelerating and simplifying the process of writing academic papers. He also shared his personal experience of using AI to write an entire journal article in just three hours while sitting comfortably in front of his laptop.

As technology continues to advance rapidly, the use of AI in the academic world is becoming increasingly relevant. This workshop aimed to provide participants with new insights and improve their productivity in producing high-quality academic work.
