As the effort to apply the MBKM curriculum (Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka), English and Literature Department Faculty Adab and Humanities need to expand cooperation with many universities. Related to this matter, the head and secretary of the department Dr. Jumharia Djamereng, M.Hum. and Syahruni Djunaid, SS.,M.Pd and also accompanied by the head of Quality Assurance Centre (QAC) for English and Literature Department, Dr. Sardian Maharani, S.Pd.,M.Pd. visited State Islamic University Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta to sign the Letter of Cooperation Agreement. The dean of Faculty Adab and Humanities, Saiful Umam, Ph.D. and the head of English Literature Department Hasnul Insani Johar, Ph.D. received the visit of Alauddin State Islamic University Makassar on  October 17^th 2022 in the meeting room Faculty Adab and Humanities Jakarta. Thus, they discussed the future cooperation between those departments as the realization of MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) between both faculties. The cooperation involves education, collaboration research and devotion to society.

Thus, the department continued to develop cooperation with Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University Yogyakarta on October 20^th 2022. They met the dean of Faculty of Adab and Cultural Sciences Dr. Muhammad Wildan, MA. and the head of English Literature Department Ulyati Retno Sari, SS., M.Hum. in the dean room. It had been developed MOU between both universities so the cooperation was conducted as following up of that MOU and also to facilitate the implementation of MBKM curriculum as well. They hoped that this cooperation would successfully take place to develop both departments in order to fulfill accreditation standard determined by Higher Education -National Accreditation Institution (BAN-PT).
