On February 18-19, 2025,
the Faculty of Adab and Humanities (FAH) organized a Scientific Publication
Writing Training in the FAH Senate Room. This event aimed to enhance lecturers'
skills in composing scientific works by utilizing artificial intelligence (AI)
technology.
The training featured
Syahiduz Zaman as the resource person, guiding lecturers in understanding and
applying various AI-based tools to support the scientific writing process.
Through interactive sessions, participants learned how to formulate research questions,
develop mind maps, and write scientific articles more efficiently and
effectively with AI assistance.
In his opening remarks,
FAH Dean Prof.Dr. H. Barsihannor, M.Ag. expressed that leveraging AI technology
is expected to boost the productivity and quality of lecturers' scientific
publications. He emphasized the importance of adapting to technological
advancements to support learning and research in the academic environment.
Participants welcomed the
training enthusiastically, expressing their eagerness to implement the acquired
knowledge to improve the quality of their scientific works. Through this
initiative, FAH is committed to continually supporting the development of lecturers'
competencies in facing challenges in the digital era.
The Scientific
Publication Writing Training organized by the Faculty of Adab and Humanities
(FAH) on February 18-19, 2025, offered several significant benefits to
participating lecturers:
- Enhancement of Scientific Writing
Competence: This training assisted lecturers in
understanding the correct structure and format of academic writing in
accordance with reputable journal standards. Consequently, the quality of

Through the training, lecturers gained knowledge about ethics in academic

the academic community. The more frequently scientific works are cited,
the greater the recognition of the lecturers' contributions to the
development of knowledge.
- Contribution to Institutional
Accreditation: The quantity and quality of
lecturers' scientific publications directly contribute to the assessment
of higher education accreditation. With an increase in publications,
institutions can achieve higher accreditation rankings, strengthening
their position in the academic world.
By participating in this training, FAH
lecturers are better equipped to produce and publish scientific works of high
quality, thereby advancing both their personal academic careers and the
institution's standing.
