Today,  February 10th, 2023 in Languge Laboratory, IDP  (Individual Development Plan) Makassar visits English and Literature Department UIN Alauddin Makassar to socialize the programs related to studying abroad. This program is attended by the head and secretary of the department Dr. Jumharia Djamereng and Syahruni Djunaid, SS., M.Pd. Ahmad, SS., M.Lit. lecturer of English and Literature Department as the chairman of commitee also guides this program.

The presenter Ade Ilham Tamara is alumni of LPDP scholarship explains the ways how to apply certain universities in UK. In addition, he also informs some steps how to apply and what document required, such as; ijazah, IELTS scores, recommendation , personal statement, etc. Personal statement is important to perform applicants achievement in order they can compete to get scholarship. It also relates to interview later when the applicant have passed some test. 

The 2nd step in joining the IEALS, the candidates should prepared some documents. IDP here offer as a chancellor for guiding how to get LOA from universities, accommodation and also transport. English and Literature Department students are enthuastic  asking about some strategies in getting scholarships for studying abroad.  Ade also encourages them to prepare their selves for early time specially upgrade achievements relate to personal development. All achievement can be attached in curriculum vitae. The more certificate of achievement student have, the more opportunity they got.
