The Industrial Revolution 5.0 is not a mere figment of the imagination and is only present in discourse. However, the Industrial Revolution has become a change of wind that blows away the old system and forces a new system to be applied at UIN Alauddin. This is a reality that must be faced by educators and education personnel in Indonesia. On November 30 - December 2023, the Academic Bureau of UIN Alauddin Makassar held a worksop on Data Synchronization and Evaluation at PD DIKTI. Some applications such as SIAKA, SISTER must inevitably be applied. Before some of the applications such as MONEV Online and Lantera have been implemented to establish a lecture system. Kaprodi BSI and BSI Operators participated in the event, listening and realizing the movement of change.

The existence of this online-based system is a fundamental change in both mental change and the orientation of thinking of the people who work and study at UIN Alauddin Makassar. The online data-based system for some people is a convenience that helps their work. However, some of the realities found seem to be not very encouraging. For millennials, they can easily run the system, but for baby boomers who have gone through several cultural transitions in their lives, they need time to adapt to these changes. Lecturers who were once only tasked with teaching, now have to realize that their other task is to input data in the system.
