Benchmarking is an activity that aims to compare performance processes and best practices between two organizations or institutions in the hope of improving performance and achievements. In this benchmarking, the English Language and Literature Department, Adab and Humanities Faculty, Alauddin Islamic State University of Makassar, made a comparison with the English Language and Literature Department, Adab and Humanities Faculty, Arraniry Islamic State University of Banda Aceh, in terms of experience and best practices in improving quality and service in this field.

Prof. Dr. H. Barsihannor, M.Ag., Dean of the Adab and Humanities Faculty at UIN Alauddin Makassar, stated, "This benchmarking activity provides valuable insight for both faculties in improving the quality of education and services. We hope that this collaboration can continue to support the growth and development of science and the humanities in Indonesia."

Meanwhile, the Dean of the Adab and Humanities Faculty , UIN Arraniry, stated in his speech, "We feel very happy and grateful for the implementation of this benchmarking activity with the Faculty of Adab and Humanities, UIN Alauddin Makassar. Collaboration like this is an important step in strengthening the quality of education and services in the academic world." By exchanging experiences and best practices between the two faculties, we hope that this collaboration can continue and produce positive benefits for the development of humanities and higher education in Indonesia as a whole."

Benchmarking activities provide a big picture of the importance of collaboration between universities in an effort to improve the quality of education and services, as well as strengthen cooperation networks.
