The English Language and Literature Department (BSI) of the Faculty of Adab and Humanities at UIN Alauddin Makassar held a consolidation meeting with the newly appointed Management of the English Language and Literature Student Association (HMJ). This meeting aimed to align the vision and work programs between HMJ and the department to enhance academic quality and student activities.

The meeting, which took place on Thursday, February 13, 2025, was attended by the new HMJ Chairman, Erick Avriansyah, along with his Secretary, Satria. During the discussion, they presented the work programs that the association plans to implement during their tenure.

The English Language and Literature Department provided various suggestions and recommendations regarding the work programs, including organizing English language training sessions such as Meeting, which can help students improve their English proficiency. Additionally, the department emphasized the importance of positive branding to attract more students to participate in the association’s activities.

With this consolidation, it is expected that the relationship between HMJ and the department will become stronger, leading to the creation of programs that positively impact English Language and Literature students. The new HMJ management is anticipated to bring innovation and renewed enthusiasm in developing students' potential in language, literature, and culture.
