The Association of Indonesian Student Reasoning and Research Institutes held the XIVth National Congress and National Working Meeting at the Malang State Polytechnic, which took place on May 17–19, 2024, with the theme "Creating an ILP2MI Regeneration that is Comprehensive in the World of Research Through Innovation and Collaboration." The National Congress and National Working Meeting activity was also enlivened by a National Scientific Writing Competition, which was attended by 26 teams from various campuses throughout Indonesia.

At the fourth plenary session of the ILP2MI National Congress, UKM RITMA UIN Alauddin Makassar competed fiercely with UKM UPII from Gadjah Mada University. However, through an election full of drama, in the end, UKM RITMA UIN Alauddin Makassar won by 2 votes over UKM UPII UGM with a ratio of 17:15 votes. So UKM RITMA UIN Alauddin Makassar was declared valid as Secretary General of ILP2MI (Association of Student Reasoning and Research Institutes) for the 2023–2024 period. The person in charge of the Secretary General is Rasmi Safitri, who is the main person in charge and is accompanied by Arya Kusuma R. and Tri Gunawan Musa.

"Awesome... I was a step back and a little insecure because I was side by side with UKM UPII UGM, where in terms of popularity and votes they were superior; even UKM RITMA visited as a guest from afar to Regional IV... But because of the ammunition and strong support from friends, even though they were online, it is enough to spark enthusiasm again, and the vision and mission which are designed as convincingly as possible to be presented to an offline audience, have succeeded in giving confidence that UKM RITMA is here to give hope for a new direction for ILP2MI. For the work program that will be carried out, we have decided to continue with previous programs such as the Symposium National, Community Service, Regional Gatherings, and so on, which are to build and increase the honor and dignity of ILP2MI as stated in mission point 3... The hope for the future is cooperation from each region with massive communication and collaboration to bring ILP2MI in a more definite direction," said Rasmi Safitri in an interview.
