The Literature Seminar conducted by English Language and Literature Association with the theme "Creative Expression in Local Literature in the Digital Era" at the Alauddin Islamic State University of Makassar Auditorium and was attended by a number of lecturers and institutional administrators on Thursday, May 30, 2024. Inviting two resource persons: Dr. Aslan Abidin, M.A., a lecturer from Makassar State University, and Luna Vidya, a poet and theater scriptwriter who is ready to share their knowledge about the development of local literature in the midst of globalization.

This activity received a warm welcome from the participants, consisting of lecturers and students from the English Language and Literature Department. They enthusiastically attended each session and actively participated in the discussions. Apart from that, this seminar was also an opportunity for students to build relationships and exchange ideas with practitioners and academics in the field of literature.

By organizing this activity, the English Language and Literature Department Student Association is committed to supporting the development of creativity and appreciation of local literature in the digital era. The hope expressed is that this activity will be the first step in similar activities as a process of inspiring the younger generation to develop their talents in the field of literature.
