Alauddin State Islamic University of Makassar in collaboration with Public Health Office of Gowa regency, gave the first dose of Covid-19 Vaccine to the lecturers and staffs on Thursday, 25 March 2021.

In order to avoid the crowd, the Sinovac Vaccine was given in campus auditorium which is quite big for the recipients. Beside that, the committee also divided the session into four sessions from 8 am until the noon.

Everyone was keen to get the vaccine since they realized the importance of vaccine during the pandemic of Covid-19. The vaccine is indeed affective. It can They can keep us from getting and spreading the virus that causes COVID-19. It also helps keep us from getting seriously ill even if we do get COVID-19. In addition, Getting vaccinated ourselves may also protect people around us.

COVID-19 vaccines are safe, except for those who have influence and have high blood-tension. They have to wait until they are fine before getting vaccinated.
