November 13, 2024 – The Head of the English and Literature Department, Dr. Rosmah Tami, S.Ag., M.Sc., M.A., and the Department Secretary, Sandra Dewi Dahlan, S.Pd., M.Pd., conducted a benchmarking visit to the Center for Malay Language, Literature, and Culture Studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM).
The delegation was warmly welcomed by Prof. Dr. Rahim Aman. During the meeting, both parties agreed to establish international collaboration in the field of the tridharma of higher education, including student exchanges, joint research, international conferences, journal publications, teaching, and community service programs.
“Hopefully, funding can be allocated to realize this international collaboration, as UKM is a globally ranked university and the second-best in Malaysia,” said Sandra Dewi Dahlan, S.Pd., M.Pd.
This benchmarking visit is expected to strengthen the academic development and international networking of the English and Literature Department while benefiting students and lecturers alike.
