Gowa, December 23, 2024 — The Faculty of Adab and Humanities held a dissemination forum to present the results of its semester-long teaching monitoring and evaluation (Monev) on Monday, December 23, 2024, at the Senate Room of the Faculty of Adab and Humanities. The event brought together the Dean, Vice Deans, Heads of Departments, as well as the Heads of the Quality Assurance Units (GPM) within the faculty.
This forum served as a platform to share key findings from the evaluation of teaching and learning activities over the past semester. It also functioned as a moment of reflection and a space for open discussion, aimed at strengthening academic quality across all study programs.
In his opening remarks, the Dean highlighted the importance of synergy and collaboration among faculty leadership, department heads, and quality assurance teams in maintaining and continuously improving teaching standards. He also extended his appreciation to all lecturers and academic staff for their dedication and hard work throughout the semester.
During the session, the faculty’s Quality Assurance Team shared the Monev results, which covered course preparation, classroom implementation, and student learning outcomes. The presentation was followed by an engaging discussion, where participants contributed feedback, insights, and recommendations to support the improvement of teaching practices in the upcoming semester.
Through this initiative, the Faculty of Adab and Humanities reaffirmed its commitment to continuous quality enhancement in teaching and learning.
