The event was attended by 40 BSI students currently working on their undergraduate theses. The workshop featured Dr. Lina Hanifiyah, S.S., M.Pd., as the main speaker, who introduced students to effective strategies for utilizing Scopus AI to strengthen the quality of their research and academic writing.

The session highlighted three essential components of thesis preparation: source tracing, identifying research gaps, and developing rationales. Students were taught practical methods for finding and evaluating credible academic sources through digital databases, while also learning how AI tools can streamline the literature discovery process. Dr. Lina further guided participants in analyzing existing studies to identify research gaps and develop innovative thesis topics. The workshop also emphasized crafting strong rationales that clearly demonstrate the importance and relevance of the research being conducted.

Throughout the event, students actively engaged in discussions and hands-on activities, expressing that the workshop provided valuable insights for improving the structure and direction of their thesis projects. The program concluded successfully, reinforcing BSI’s commitment to supporting students’ academic readiness and enhancing their research competencies through technology-enhanced learning initiatives.
