The PMB TOT activity was attended by 37 participants, including
university leaders, representative lecturers, religion and general lecturers from UIN Alauddin Makassar. Lukman Hakim Saifuddin, the
Minister of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia from 2014 to 2019, and Alissa
Wahid, were among the presenters. In addition to delivering material, debates
and case studies regarding "Religious Moderation"-oriented content
were also conducted.
How to instill the values of moderation in behaving and acting in the context of the nation, state, and religion, namely: 1) Humanity, 2) Public Welfare, 3) Justice, 4) Balance, 5) Constitution Obedient, 6) National Commitment, 7) Tolerance, 8) Anti-Violence, and 9) Respect for Tradition, is an important component of this activity. If we appropriately apply these nine life principles in our daily lives, we would be able to establish a harmonious and peaceful society.
