Gowa — Students and lecturers of the English Language and Literature Study Program participated in a literary writing workshop titled “WordCraft & Wealth: Membangun Karier dari Karya Sastra” held on Sunday, 10 May 2026, at Perpustakaan Gowa. The event was conducted as part of the Entrepreneurship course taught by Dr. Juliastuti, M. Hum..
The workshop featured Indonesian writer and poet Aan Mansyur as the main speaker. During the sessions, he shared insights on creative writing, idea exploration, publication strategies, and opportunities to build professional careers through the literary and creative industries.
The program ran from morning until afternoon and included presentation sessions, creative writing practice, participants’ work reviews, and interactive discussions. Through the practical sessions and evaluations, participants had the opportunity to receive direct feedback on their writing techniques and creative ideas.
The workshop aimed to broaden students’ understanding of the connection between creativity, literacy, and entrepreneurship. In addition to improving their writing skills, participants were encouraged to view literary works as potential professional and economic opportunities in today’s creative industry.
