Gowa, 19 September 2025 — The Head and Secretary of the English Language and Literature Program (BSI), Faculty of Adab and Humanities (FAH), at Universitas Islam Negeri Alauddin Makassar visited the university’s Quality Assurance Institute (LPM) office to review accreditation documents and coordinate preparations for the upcoming Field Assessment (Asesmen Lapangan/AL) scheduled for October.
The BSI delegation was received by Irwan, S.Si., M.Si., Secretary of LPM, and Muhammad Nur Akbar Rasyid, M.Pd., M.Ed., Ph.D., Head of the Quality Assurance Audit Center. The meeting focused on verifying the completeness of accreditation forms (borang), strengthening documentation strategies, and aligning technical preparations to ensure a smooth assessment process.
During the discussion, the Head of the English Language and Literature Program emphasized that the visit reflects the department’s commitment to maintaining high academic and administrative standards. He noted that careful verification of every detail is essential to ensure that the upcoming field assessment proceeds effectively and yields optimal outcomes for the program.
Meanwhile, Irwan expressed appreciation for the proactive initiative taken by the BSI program in conducting early coordination. He affirmed that LPM is fully prepared to provide guidance and support throughout all stages of the assessment preparation.
This strategic coordination marks an important step for the English Language and Literature Program as it intensifies its readiness for the Field Assessment. The process is expected to contribute to strengthening the program’s accreditation status and enhancing the overall quality and competitiveness of its academic services.
