Makassar, 27 April 2026 — The Faculty of Adab and Humanities
(FAH) at Universitas Islam Negeri Alauddin Makassar held its monthly assembly
today, bringing together lecturers and administrative staff in a formal
gathering aimed at strengthening institutional values and performance.
The assembly featured a keynote address by Prof. Dr. H.
Barsihannor, M.Ag., Dean of the Faculty of Adab and Humanities. In his remarks,
he emphasized the importance of discipline and loyalty among lecturers and
staff as fundamental pillars in maintaining academic excellence and
institutional integrity. He noted that consistent commitment to professional
responsibilities plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality of education and
services within the faculty.
As part of the event, the faculty also presented awards to
recognize outstanding contributions and performance. The Outstanding
Contribution Award was granted to Prof. Dr. H. Mardan, M.Ag., and Prof. Dr. H. Abd. Rahman, M.Ag., in acknowledgment of their significant academic and
institutional contributions.
In addition, Dra. Marwati, M.Ag., received an award for her
exemplary performance and high level of loyalty as a lecturer. Meanwhile,
recognition for outstanding administrative staff was awarded to Abd. Kadir,
S.E., for his dedication and service.
The recognition ceremony underscored the faculty’s ongoing commitment to fostering a culture of excellence, discipline, and appreciation. It is expected that such initiatives will continue to motivate all members of the faculty to enhance their performance and contribute meaningfully to the development of the institution.
